3. Chapters 16 and 17 Plant and Animal Adaptations  Pick one plant and one animal native to Iowa. They do not have to currently inhabit the state. Example: buffalo once roamed the grasslands before human settlement.  Write a 3 page paper (or 15 slide presentation) describing the anatomy, physiology, classification, ecological and behavioral characteristics of each.  Work cited page must be included with any websites listed that were referenced. This page (or slides) will not count towards final page total.  Make sure it is at least 3 pages or 15 slides. Grade will be docked if it is short.
