Homework Students are assigned to read and write a response each day. Each student has a spiral notebook and has practiced doing this independently. If you want to read with your child, we encourage you to do so. Math will be assigned according to our lessons.

Ways you can help your child at home. Remember, you are part of the second grade team, and your child needs you. Reading is a benefit no matter who is doing the reading. You can read and talk about the story (characters, setting, problem in the story, solution,and does it remind the student of any other story or real life situation).
