2. Overview Why THE CBA NEEDS DAY CARE?

DAY CARE CENTER GOALS u Expand and build a strong base for our community u CBA will be a place to learn, to play, and to grow for Circassian children u Benefits for children and parents u CBA Day Care will be the place to learn the Circassian language u Ensure long term additional income for the CBA

Is the CBA Qualified for Day Care Center? u Technically, the CBA has a Day Care Center u The CBA is equipped, and Sunday school is already qualified for the purpose u The spacing and set-up at Sunday school is suitable for 35-40 children u CBA license will be suitable for ages between 2 ½ to 6 years old u The cafeteria and additional space available at the CBA are well qualified for Day Care Center as well

5. What Else Needs to be Done? u The cost is very minimal u Existing Sunday school at the CBA is equipped and meets Wayne Township regulations and codes. u Some minor modifications will be needed such as opening doors and windows u Playground needed as part of a Day Care Center

6. Staffing the Day Care Center u The Day Care Center must be headed by a director u A director must posses B.S degree from any credited University, and could be in any major. Preferably, in early childhood or nursing departments u Based on 35-40 children, the center will need three other teachers or assistant teachers

7. Staffing Continue u Staffing, other than the director of the center does not require B.S degree. Qualifications may vary u Many Day care Centers hire part time students u The center will create jobs for our community members

8. Financial Benefits for the CBA u Center-Based Care Costs for one Child in NJ is $11,045 a year u Based on 35 children, the CBA can make $385,000 a year u Additional care such as food will bring more income to the CBA
