19 Lesson 8 – More Miracles 8:40-56 They come back across the Sea Mk 5:21 Upon arriving in Galilee, Jesus encounters a waiting crowd v. 40 cp. v. 37 Jairus’ Daughter Healed vv. 40-42, 49-56 He begs Jesus to come heal his 12-year old daughter who was dying vv. 40-42

22 Lesson 8 – More Miracles 8:40-56 Hemorrhaging Woman Healed vv. 43-48 She believed that simply touching Jesus’ garment would heal her cp. Mk 5:28 Doing so, her blood flow immediately dried up Jesus asked, “Who touched Me?” v. 45 Peter is surprised at His question v. 46

23 Lesson 8 – More Miracles 8:40-56 Hemorrhaging Woman Healed vv. 43-48 The woman revealed herself and proclaimed before all what had happened v. 47 Jesus reassures her, tells her not to be afraid; her faith made her well v. 48

24 Lesson 8 – More Miracles 8:40-56 Hemorrhaging Woman Healed vv. 43-48 Jesus’ question in v. 45 is not to be confused with His omniscience Jesus was simply giving the woman the chance to express her faith before others Similar situations in Gen 3:9-11, 13 4:6, 9-10
