PE The students are going to get 60 minutes of PE each week. As it is so hot right now, I am not having PE in the afternoon just yet. Inclimate weather will effect our schedule (excessive heat or rain).

Classroom behavior, rewards, and consequences I am using class dojo. Each student can earn points each day for following the classroom rules. Each day I will pick a winner with the most points (small prize). I will pick a weekly and monthly winner. I try and “catch” them making good choices too! The first time I take away a point for talking out of turn, not being safe (not following classroom rules), it is a warning. Second will be 5 minutes of recess, third they will have a paper sent home that needs to be signed by you and returned the next day. Fighting or other severe offense will be handled by administration. I am using class dojo. Each student can earn points each day for following the classroom rules. Volunteers If you wish to volunteer, please let me know so I can make a schedule (if I have several). Email would be best as we may need to have fingerprints/TB test done before you can come into the classroom bhoffmann@sjacademy.org If you wish to volunteer, please let me know so I can make a schedule (if I have several). Birthday Treats Please remember if you bring birthday treats, they need to be store bought. We do have a few kiddos that are allergic to peanuts, so peanut-free treats would be best so everyone is included.
