15. ...which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent?

16. If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! - Matt 7:9-11

29. Adultery- Married, yet sex outside marriage Fornication- Sex before marriage Lust- Adultery in the heart

30. Anything outside Covenant relationship As established by God

31. So God creates Intense pleasure And then says, "No!"

32. And church doesn't help "It's evil. It's wrong. It's nasty! So…save it for your husband!"

33. Yet he's not forcing us, right? Free will

34. If you waited until you Got married, no one Made you do that

35. If you've been faithful While married Who forced you?

36. If you choose to fight The temptation to lust It's a choice, right?

37. The question isn't freedom So why do we get so upset And fight the scriptures So hard?

38. We want to force God To bless what he's forbidden So we can free our conscience

40. If you have a new interpretation of the scriptures. And you also have a lifestyle action that the new interpretation speaks to…

41. You don't have a new interpretation.

42. You have the false notion of an excuse for your sin. And a new rationalization based upon an ancient error.

49. When it comes to sex… If you and I are going to Tell God to take a hike Let's at least be honest about it

52. So God gives sex as a gift Makes it intensely pleasurable Then sets boundaries But gives free will

55. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body… God's design- for his Spirit

56. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!

57. Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two will become one flesh.”

58. Sex produces unity Which can be awesome! (Or awesomely destructive)

59. But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.

60. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.

61. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?

63. Why does God care? He owns Unity Purpose and Pleasure Creation-participation

64. Pleasure is a privilege Of being God's creation Praise is the purpose Of the pleasure

66. When we engage in sex Outside God's design We begin to make pleasure The purpose rather than praise Of the One who created it

68. Unity becomes Possessiveness Object for my pleasure Force Addiction Perversion

69. Americans= Most sexed, Least satisfied On the planet Because we worship our desires And make gods of our bodies

71. Worship of the Created Rather than the Creator is Idolatry

72. Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?

73. Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves…

74. …nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

80. Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer.

81. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control - 1 Cor. 7

82. Rule #1: Drop and go for it regularly Rule #2: Don't deprive one another

83. Rule #3: Mutual consent (and only for a short time)

84. Christians ought to believe In enjoying All that God created…

88. So why would we take lessons From the world around us Who love the Creation Yet mock the Creator?

89. If I can't praise him for it It's a pretty good indication I need to re-seek his will For my pleasure
