3. Languages spoken here are mostly english with a couple of native languages such as Eskimo and Aleut The type of food in Alaska is lots of seafood like King Crab, Halibut and Sockeye Salmon Alaska uses American currency with an exchange rate of $1.00 Can =.73 cents US

4. Two unique cutsoms for Alaska is Alaska Day, which is an event held on Oct. 18. It is the anniversary of the formal transfer rof the territory and the raising of the US flag at Sitka in 1867. The other one is Seward’s Day which is on the last Monday of March. It commenorates the signing of the treaty by which the united states bought Alaska from Russia.
