1 Accessing Your Email “How To” Series – W&J Office of Communications

2 For the quickest, easiest access to your W&J email, type “mail.washjeff.edu” into the URL of your internet browser. It will take you to this page, the Outlook Web App, which you can bookmark: Your user name and password should be the same as your network user name and password.

3 Accessing Email From Your Computer There are three ways to access email from the W&J College website homepage (washjeff.edu). If you are using a desktop or laptop computer, the top of the homepage should look like this:washjeff.edu

4 First, you can click the Faculty/Staff tab in the main navigation bar at the top of the homepage. This will take you to a webpage where you can access your email via the Email (Outlook Web App) link located in the left sidebar.

5 Second, you can hover your mouse over the Faculty/Staff tab in the main navigation bar at the top of the homepage. This will cause a drop-down menu to appear, where you can then click the menu item Email (Outlook Web App).

6 Third, you can scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click the Email (Outlook Web App) link under the Faculty/Staff menu.

7 Accessing Email From A Mobile Device You also can access your email from the W&J College website homepage (washjeff.edu) if you are using a mobile phone, digital tablet (including iPads and similar devices), or from computers with smaller or lower-resolution screens.washjeff.edu If you are using one of these devices, the top of the homepage should look similar to this:

8 Click the menu button in the top right corner of the homepage to reveal navigation for the website. Click the plus sign ( + ) on the right of the Faculty/Staff tab to see the associated menu items, including a link to Email (Outlook Web App).

9 Whether you access your email from a desktop computer or from a mobile device, the end result should be a screen that looks like this: Your user name and password should be the same as your network user name and password.
