Important Information School begins at 7:50 Breakfast – (until 7:35) $1.25 Lunch – $2.10 (11:02-11:32) ASP – until 6 pm, $10 registration fee, $7 per day Please be sure you have emailed me, signed up for the Blog, and returned all important papers Library – We will go every week and in the mornings Specials: See blog for 6 day rotation schedule

Snacks and Celebrations! WE ARE A PEANUT FREE ROOM! We have several allergies. Please be aware when sending in snacks or treats. Please remember to send in healthy snacks. Students will not be able to eat chips or cookies at snack time. Birthday treats can be sent in. Please send in one variety of treats and napkins. We currently have 20 students. Thanks.

Report Card Overview Your child will be graded using the number scores of 1, 2, 3, and 3+. 3 + = Exceeds Standards - In addition to the 3, makes applications and inferences beyond expectations (This level is very rarely achieved due to the rigor of our standards) 3 = Meets Standards - Consistently and independently 2 = Progressing toward meeting standards (This level is common as we are still progressing towards meeting our standards) 1 = Limited progress or does not meet standards

Agendas Please read and sign daily Your signature means: that you read any notes reviewed any homework your child has read

Homework: I do not give a lot of homework. The kids work hard all day long. I do expect daily reading! It is important that your child read for at least 15 minutes each night. You can read to your child too! This is a great way to get extra snuggles. We have spelling patterns that we work on for the week. Practice will be sent home weekly. We will not have a spelling list. Math homework will be sent home as needed

Dojo Dojo points are earned and lost based on behaviors. The goal is to earn at least 3 points a day

Field Trips We are working on a few field trips! This fall we will be going to a play at the Center For Puppetry Arts! In the spring, we will go to the Yellow River Game Ranch! We will have a story teller come in the spring! More information will come home at a later date.
