3. A FRICAN, B OLLYWOOD African: Use earth tones with patterns, mixed with beads & elements. Bollywood: Bright colors, prints & sarees.

4. H IPSTER, B IKER, G OTH, P UNK, R OCK & R OLL Hipster: Tight jeans, t-shirts. Biker: Black leather, ripped tees & vests. Goth: Black, lace, corsets & buckles. Punk: Plaid, ripped jeans, zippers, leather & combat boots. Rock & Roll: Leather, sequins, boots & heels.

5. S OCKHOP, F OXHUNT, W ESTERN, C ONSERVATIVE Sockhop: Poodle skirts, button downs & sweater sets. Foxhunt: Riding pants, jackets & trench coats. Western: Fringe, ruffles, denim or leather. Conservative: Loose, and don’t reveal too much skin.

6. C OCKTAIL, B LACK T IE, P ROM, B RIDAL Cocktail: Little black dresses & high-heels. Black Tie: Gowns, heels. Prom: Corsages, long ruffled dresses, sequins. Bridal: Dress, white, flowers.

7. P ROVOCATIVE, R ACY Provocative: Plunging necklines, highcut skirts & form-fitting pieces. Racy: Shorter, tighter clothes.

8. T ROPICAL, B OHO C HIC Tropical: Capris, sarongs & sandals, light floral prints. Boho Chic: Loose, flowing clothes in earth tones.

9. B USINESS, C ASUAL F RIDAY, N EW Y ORK S HARP Business: Pinstripes & suits, conservatively, but with style. Casual Friday: Subdued outfits, khakis, clean lines & solid colors. New York Sharp: Geometric prints, tight, brown, no heels.

10. W INTER, S UMMER, F ALL Winter: Heavier, longer clothes & low-heeled closed-toe shoes. Summer: Light, bright breezy clothes. Fall: Sweater, browns & reds.

11. F LAPPER, F LAMENCO P UNK, P IRATE G YPSY Flapper: Short dresses with pleats & fringe. Flamenco Punk: Ruffles, ripped punk punch. Pirate Gypsy: Striped outfits, loose, silky, full of ruffles & layers.

12. B EACHWEAR, F UTURISTIC Beachwear: Bikinis, board shorts, sunglasses & flip-flops. Futuristic: Shiny fabrics & geometric cuts.
