1 Lesson Objectives By the end of today’s lesson you will be able to:  Define Cash Flow forecast  Identify key elements of a cash flow forecast  Create a basic Cash flow forecast for your own finances.  You will also: Work on a variety of ICT programs and use creative thinking and independent learning

2 Task 1  In your own words write a definition of what YOU think a Cash flow forecast is. We will come back to this later!!  Look at the example cash flow forecast. Identify the key elements of this and what this Cash flow forecast tells the reader.

3 Your Challenge is to produce a Cash Flow forecast for your own finances. You will need to construct your own template. Audience: The report will be aimed at 16/17 year old students Rules: Within your report you must include information about the following: 1. It most be for a period of 12 months 2. You must identify all your income and expenditure for the year. 3. Explain to the group your cashflow forecast and give reasons for any overspending. This will be independent learning Resources: You will have access to: Computers however you must put together any slides on one computer The internet Text books Time limit: 1 hr mins Skills/ Disposition: Independent and Creative thinkers Product: A Cash Flow forecast Product Criteria SatisfactoryGoodOutstanding Cash flow forecast includes the rules ICT used It is for a 12 month period You have identified your income and expenditure You can explain your cash flow to the rest of the group
