Contracts of service delivery on the local level In 2003 thirty eight LGs (from 131 participated in the survey) had contracts of service delivery with nonprofit organizations in following fields: n social services (14 LGs) n sport (13 LGs) n youth work (13 LGs) n culture (12 LGs)

Recommendations to the public authorities on national and local level n to increase considerably the share of operational support of NPAs on the local and national level n to use long-term (min of 3 years) contracts for the provision of public services and use of operational support

Recommendations to the nonprofit organizations n to find stable cooperation partners from the public and business sector n to offer new types of services besides the existing public services n to develop knowledge and skills in organizational management and economic activities
