6 Some negative or degenerative experiences can be positive in that they can help children to develop coping strategies, provided that support is in place. Janet Limberg October 2014

7  Describe the support that is needed for children as they move from one setting to another eg nursery, reception, junior school, secondary school.  Choose one of these scenarios and make a list of what support would need to be in place to ensure that children develop a sense of being part of the school community.  Think about how this can be made sustainable?  Think about how this may need to be developed/adapted for a child with a specific need such as aspergers.
