Do not use as a distraction Avoid playing with the object while speaking Do not pass the object around Keep focus with audience Ask yourself: Is it relevant? When will I factor the aid into my speech? Is it large enough for everyone to see?

Audience-centered speeches Pick a partner Together you will pick an audience and object Create a short speech about any topic. How will you factor in your aid? How will you make the speech audience-centered? Before presentations: pair with another set. You will offer tips as we move into speech 1.
