1. How to Use Destiny Quest (Library Catalog)

2. To get to the library catalog, go to www.jasperisd.net www.jasperisd.net Under SCHOOLS click on Jasper HighSchool, and click on the LIBRARY tab. Scroll down to the Follett Destiny box and click on the box.

3. Select Jasper High School.

4. Click Login. Put in your username and your password(student ID number). This is the same username and password you use to log into any school computer.

5. Click on Destiny Quest on the left.

6. You can tell that you are logged in because your name appears in the upper right next to the logout button. To search for materials, enter your query in the box at the top of the screen and hit enter (or click on Go!).

7. Your results will appear as follows.

8. From your results screen, you can click on any book to see more information about the book.

9. From this screen you can place a hold on the book…

10. …or review the book.

11. You can click on Title Peek to see much more info on the book.

12. Title Peek has a picture of the book, a summary, reviews, author info, and more.

13. MyQuest is for discussions about books. If MyQuest is used inappropriately, the student will be barred from using MyQuest.

14. Drag and drop books to your “shelves” to show what you have read, what you are now reading, and what you want to read.

15. New Destiny Quest App!!! Now you can even download a Destiny Quest app for your iPhone, iPad, and even some Android devices from the iTunes app store. Here is a great YouTube video explaining how to use the Destiny Quest app.

16. After you have downloaded the Destiny Quest app, it may ask for your school library’s url before you can connect. The url address to use is https://jasperisd.follettdestiny.com https://jasperisd.follettdestiny.com If you have any problems with the app, please don’t hesitate to ask me.
