2. Prom committee applications are available outside Mrs. Champion's room 406. These are due by Friday, October 17.

3. Did you get a chance to have Kona Ice during homecoming week? Wasn't it delicious? If you missed it, we have great news for you! The Peer Helpers will be sponsoring monthly Kona Ice on the first Tuesday of every month. This means their next stop at FHS is this Tuesday! They will be in the canteen area from 12-3:30. You may come with your whole class and teacher or after school. As a reminder, this is not something you should leave class to get. We want to thank you in advance for your support and we'll see you out there Tuesday afternoon!

4. Tonight, Foosackly's will be having a band night from 6-9pm. Come out and eat at Foosackly's from 6-9 and a portion of the profits will be donated to the band.

5. Anyone that has pictures from Homecoming, please email the pictures to the yearbook staff at: foleyhsyearbook@gmail.com They want to feature your memories!

6. The VEX Robotics Club exhibit won a second place ribbon at the Baldwin County Fair. Alisa Fagan and Jonathan Nguyen did an awesome job of demonstrating our robots at the fair. They also gave robot driving lessons to fairgoers. This new club will hold its first meeting on Wednesday immediately after school in room 905. Membership in the VEX Robotics Club is open to all students.

7. Membership dues are $5. The meeting will cover the next robot demonstrations, this year's VEX competition, and membership in Technology Student Association which is open to all students enrolled in an engineering or technology course. If you are interested in joining either of the clubs, please attend the meeting on Wednesday immediately after school in room 905.

8. There will be an important Foley Theatre Company meeting immediately after school on Friday in Ms. Andersen's room. Please make plans to attend!

9. There is a mandatory Student Council meeting on Monday after school at 3:10 in the library.

10. Softball tryouts are coming soon! Tryouts will be held October 22-24. If you are interested in being a part of this year’s team, see Coach Bridges.

11. Attention AP seniors: There will be a meeting tonight for you and your parents in the cafeteria beginning at 6 pm. Topics covered will be how to apply for college, get info on FAFSA, and many other college issues. Plan to attend this important informational meeting.

12. The PSAT will be given here on campus Wednesday, October 15 at 8 am. Sophomores and juniors are encouraged to see Mrs. Lores to register. The cost is $15.
