A. Round-Off Error: When using math that doesn’t give exact answers, you will be asked to round the answer. This often leads to errors. 1.After you have rounded, use the ≈ sign rather than the = sign. 2.Example: Three people want to share equally in the cost of a pizza. The pizza costs $12.89. You can find each person’s share by solving 3x = 12.89.
