32 District Grants  Community, small International projects, scholarship, other GSE?  Must meet TRF Grants Terms and Conditions. (see handout)  Club Qualification so: GMS, MOU and Addendum required by D-5580  Submitted as a Proposal to District Spending Plan. One time window.  Must meet the Foundation Mission.

34 District Grants cont.  Funds available 2013-14 up to $65,000, from 2010-11 APF contributions  Minimum Request $500.00  Maximum Request $5000. per club, up to $15000. Multi club partnership.  Additional Criteria; when requests exceed funds available???  District Criteria reviewed annually, May following Spending Plan

35 District Grants cont. Funding Example $3000.00 Club $3000.00 DDF $6000.00 Total Note: Criteria may change year to year Depending on Funds available and demand

Proposal Application Process  Application available on District Website, completed on line.  March-April work with assigned Mentor to complete Proposal.  April 30, Final Draft proposal due.  Early May, Grants Subcommittee approves Proposals based on criteria and funding available.

37 District Grants cont.  Mid May, District Submits Spending Plan to TRF for final approval.  Approved Proposals resubmitted as Applications. (Same Document, click Application)  Clubs have until the following May to request grant funds and initiate project. (Do not start project before receiving funds)  Club reporting process kicks in upon receipt of funds. Every 6 months, 2 year Sunset
