Interloper in-ter-loh-per Definition: Someone who interferes with other people’s business. Sentence: Candace from Phineas and Ferb is an interloper, she is always in the boys’ business and is constantly trying to “bust” them. A good way to remember: Someone who is an interloper is wants to constantly be in the “loop.”

Terse [turs] Tersely, terseness, unterse, untersely, unterseness Definiton: concise; brief Sentence: On the rare occasion that Ferb talks it’s terse. A good way to remember: Terse is like purse and you usually keep the essentials in a purse. Keeping it concise.

Taciturn [tas-i-turn] taciturnly, untaciturn, untaciturnly Definition: quiet, reluctant to talk to others Sentence: Perry can be described as a taciturn being, he never talks. Its unknown if he can actually talk. A good way to remember: A person who is shy may skip their “turn” when it’s time to talk in a conversation.

Inured [in-yoor, ih-noor] inurement, uninured Definition: habituated to something unpleasant Sentence: Baljeet is inured to Buford’s bullying since it happens so often. A good way to remember: someone who is clumsy may be inured to being injured.

Enervated [en-er-vey-tid] unenervated Definition: without force or strength; depleted of energy Sentence: Carl is a very enervated person, because of this and many other reasons he isn’t called on to do missions. A good way to remember” Someone who is enervated may not have a lot of energy.
