2. Build the tallest FREESTANDING structure The winning team is the one that has the tallest structure measured from the top of your desk to the top of the marshmallow. That means the structure CANNOT be suspended from a higher structure, such as a chair, ceiling light, etc. 2

3. The ENTIRE marshmallow must be on TOP The entire marshmallow needs to be on the top of the structure. Cutting or eating part of the marshmallow disqualifies the team. 3

4. Use as much or as little of the kit Tool kit contains: – Spaghetti sticks – String – Tape – Marshmallow Use as much of the materials as you want There will be NO replacements 4

5. You are allowed to modify your materials If you want, you are free to – Break up the spaghetti – Cut up the tape – Cut up the string 5

6. Time The challenge lasts 18 minutes EXACTLY Teams CANNOT hold on to the structure when the time runs out Teams touching or supporting their structure at the end of the exercise will be disqualified. 6
