Mercury the Miraculous! Ancient Romans and Greek discovered it. It does not have any moons! It can be 90*C to 700*C degrees! 3 Mercury's make 1 Earth! Since there is no Pluto, Mercury is now the smallest planet.

The Earth is the densest major body in the Solar System! The nearby planets are Mercury and Venus! The Earth weighs 7500 k-. The Earth’s Moon’s name is Luna! The inner core of Earth is a hard rock. The inner core is very smooth. Our object was discovered 4.5 to 4.6 billion years ago. The Earth was a very fun project to do.There are many interesting things we didn’t know!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mars Mars was discovered by Galileo The length of the day is 24 hours and 37 min. Mars ‘hills are 100 feet tall. Earth and Jupiter surrounds Mars. Mars is the only planet that has frozen water The length of the year is 686.98 days. Scientists believe the core is solid iron.

Jupiter is also known as Zeus. But Jupiter’s name is Jove. You can see 4 of Jupiter’s moons with a telescope. Jupiter has 60 moons. You can see Jupiter’s rings but they are faint and are only to be seen while Jupiter passes in front of the sun.

Saturn has 18 moons with more to be found. Its rings Are made out of water ice and rocky particles. The temperature is 184C, 300F. Saturn is made of material that makes it lighter than water. Titan is Saturn’s biggest moon and it has water on it!

5 facts about Neptune The first person that discovered Neptune was Johann Galileo Neptune was discovered in 1846. Neptune has 3 rings called arcs. They are Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Neptune is a BIG gas planet. Neptune was made of various ices and rocks.

Clouds of dust and gasses in the Milky Way prevent us from seeing far into the galaxy. The Milky Way has over 100 billion stars. In the 1920s the American astronomer Edward P. Hulble discovered that the universe contains many other galaxies. Some evidence says there could be a black hole.. The word galaxy comes from the Greek word milk.
