Swim Test Where? Lakefield Beach When? Mon Sept 14 th 12:15-3pm What? –100 m swim –5 minutes treading water –Taking off and putting on a PFD –Canoe over canoe rescue Why? –Prerequisite for canoe course and canoe trip

Permission Forms & Money Overview of each form All permissions forms are due Fri Sept 11th! The learning in this program is enhanced by field trips and activities – the course fee is $125. This can be paid by cheque (made out to LDSS) or cash. A receipt will be provided).

Volunteer Drivers & Chaperones Needed for day and overnight trips, to tow the canoe trailer, equipment trailer and drive students! Chaperones on trips-to meet the Board required safety ratios during high risk activities. Ratio is 1:8 A criminal records check (at the vulnerable screening level) Please visit Mrs. Little in the Main Office between 8am-3:30pm to pick up a letter to give to the Police Station or OPP to state you are volunteering for a school.
