6 Chemistry 1.Slide-1: Research on popular foods or spices of the countries you chose. Once you have found the ingredient you will look for its chemical composition (elements that make up the molecule). 2.How is the ingredient obtained? From what plant? How do they process it? How do they use it in their traditional foods.

7 Chemistry 1.(2 nd slide) Locate restaurants or popular places (food markets) that sell this kind of food and put this in the itinerary (Include the name of the restaurant or the food market and a map highlighting the location so that the tourist can locate the place in his/her visit).

8 Chemistry 1.(3 rd slide) give the historic background to the uses of this ingredient from its origins to how it is now a product of export. How does this product help the economy of the small producers. (Please include pictures! They say more than words).

9 FIRST: Two ecotourism places to see in your assigned country. Examples are: hiking, camping, mountain climbing, biking, scuba diving, snorkeling, water rafting, river kayaking, sea kayaking, wildlife viewing, safaris, indigenous people related sight-seeing, etc… The places or things to do that you choose should be unique to that area. Ideally it should be something the client does not see where they are from. Keep in mind your clients lifestyle. You will have to explain your rationale in choosing these places for them. Include pictures and map of the two best locations. One slide for each location. Include two pictures of each site and a map of the country showing where the eco-tourist site is found. 12 Environmental Concern – one slide that shows two or three pictures of the environmental problem and the organization’s work in your assigned country. Include the logo of the non-profit organization and briefly describe the environmental issue and one thing the non-profit organization has recently done to help with the problem.
