3. The CFUW Charitable Trust was established in 1976 a)To collect, invest and administer the funds for the Fellowship Program which is administered by the Fellowship Committee. b)To encourage advancement of education for women at all levels. c) To allow donors to receive charitable receipts.

Linda Souter Humanities Award Established in 2014 to support women at the Masters’ or Doctoral level studying such topics as: English Languages and Literature, History, Languages, Classics, Philosophy, Film studies, Communication Studies or Culture Studies. 7. A new program allows CFUW Clubs across Canada to nominate groups or organizations for these awards The CFUW National Program also includes two additional awards: $4000 offered in alternating years The CFUW Library Award (2014) Wolfville, N.S. The CFUW Creative Arts Award (2015)
