8 Effective Communication
Feedback: information given about a performance (S.P.I.U) Specific: exactly what needs to change Positive: should be said in a positive way

12 Assertiveness Specify: e.g I have worked as hard as everyone else in training so think I deserve to play as much as everyone else. Consequences: e.g if everyone plays the same amount it is the fairest result as everyone has done the same amount of training

13 Social Responsibility

31 Assessment Questions Explain: ‘Say why you think it happened’
to make clear the reason for something ‘Say why you think it happened’ e.g He did this so our defense was in a line to stop the other team breaking our line

32 Assessment questions Evaluate:
to determine the significance of something ‘Did what happened have a positive/ negative impact, why/why not’ e.g this made our defense hard to break because we all knew our roles and we worked hard to play well as a team.

33 Last night’s dinner What you had for dinner last night:
Describe: I had chicken with vegetables and a sauce Explain: This is meat from the poultry variety and the vegetables were cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli and tomatoes, the sauce was a spicy chilli sauce which was over all the meal Evaluate: The meat was a little over cooked because it was tough to chew but the vegetables were great because they were steamed and still very flavorsome. The sauce made the meal because it made the chicken taste nicer. On the whole a good meal
