Suspense Where is the suspense the greatest? What effect does the suspense Create in you as readers? How does the suspense Effect the characters?

Prefixes and Suffixes During reading, students often encounter unfamiliar words. By applying prior knowledge about the meaning of prefixes, suffixes and root words, students can often arrive at a reasonable definition for an unfamiliar word…..this enhances your comprehension! Prefix: is one or more syllables that can be added at the beginning of a root word to form a new word Suffix: is added to the end of a word and can change a word from one part of speech to another.
