3. LOCATION Choose a location that is conducive to practice - this might be a bedroom or another room in the house that does not have manydistractions. This room might also have the following within easy access: piano, CD player, computer, mirror. Consider noise a factor when choosing a location as well.

CONSISTENT TIME OF DAY One very important aspect of good practice is to practice at a consistent time every day; however, the student needs to be able to look at his/her week and be able to determine the best time he/she should practice based upon extracurricular activities and/or homework load. Most importantly: PLAN AHEAD!
