Recipe- Peach Cobbler Ingredients : 1cup Sugar, 1cup Milk, 1cup Flour,1tbl Baking powder,2tbl Melted margarine, 1can Peaches,1cupSugar pour margarine in square pan, mix 1st 4 ingredients together, pour into pan. mix peaches, including juice, with sugar, pour over batter. bake 375 F. for 45 - 50 minutes, until golden brownmargarinebake

Breakfast Germans are early risers and eat quick breakfasts The meal consists of rolls and butter Since a full appetite hasn’t woken up they take stuff to school and work to eat around 10

Lunch Lunch is the biggest meal of the day for the German people It consists from 2 to 7 courses The courses are small and the 3 rd and 4 th are the biggest Lunch is usually eaten at hoome with the family

Supper Served around 7:30 The meal usually has a soup and a dessert Cold meats are eaten and usually some beer is involved

Special Gatherings When special events take place the host usually decorates with special linen and china

Holidays Oktoberfest- 16 day period where 6 million people arrive in Munich to celebrate the worlds largest fair On other holidays it is common to see a roasted goose on the table

Herbs/Spices Germany has a lot of different types of herbs and spices Mustard Vanilla Basil

Tradition It is traditional for a family to eat together The hostess works hard for when special guest come to visit
