5.  Begin to draw in pencil first how you want to sketch the room.  The drawing must contain 10 details from the story. You must number these details 1-10 in the drawing.  On the back you must list what those 10 details are. (Example: Stack of newspapers by his desk)  Full color is expected.  This is a class work grade.

6.  Purpose: describe Mr. Larson’s messy room  4-6 stanzas describing Mr. Larson’s chaotic room  Use figurative language at least 2 times  Rhyming is up to you.  Use powerful descriptions.  A shape poem is also allowed if you choose.  Attach a numbered list of details from the book that are in your poem.

7. The shape must help show the main idea of the poem.
