3 Creation of the world The universe had no shape…this was called Chaos. After Chaos there were more gods Gaia= the Earth Uranus=the sky.

4 Gods were a family Each had specific powers/responsibilities Zeus-head of the family Poseidon-god of the sea Hera-wife of Zeus/goddess of marriage Ares-god of war (picture to the right)

5 Worship Greeks prayed for things they wanted To feel better if they were sick Thank gods with animal sacrifices (kill animals)
