Saving the Document Save or Save As? Choose Save As – When saving a document for the first time, changing the file name, change the format or file location Choose Save – To save changes while working on a document INSY 102 Introduction to Word 2007 Slide # 11

Entering Text Type – Do NOT press the Enter key at the end of each line – DO press the Enter key at the end of a paragraph – Press the Tab key to indent a paragraph Enter key = hard return – The Enter key creates a paragraph break Shift + Enter key = Soft Return (Word Wrap) – Creates a line break without creating a new paragraph INSY 102 Introduction to Word 2007 Slide # 12
