My approach to safety If a traveler (student or adult) violates my rules, I have the right to send them home from tour at the parents’ expense.

What are you responsible for? These are all necessities each traveler will be responsible for on this tour. Spending money for optional excursions, free time activities, souvenirs, beverages, lunches and snacks ($30-$65 per day) Tips for your Tour Director, bus driver and local guides (around $10 per day) Passport and/or visa fees

Things to consider 130 days out Passports Tour Handbook Special Travel Arrangements Late Payments Packing List 8

Passports and visas All travelers are responsible for securing necessary documentation Valid passports are required for all travelers Passports may take up to 14 weeks to process Some destinations may require travel visas Non-U.S. citizens may require special visas or other travel documents Important note: Passports must be valid for at least six months after our scheduled return date

Tour Handbook Each traveller should have already received their tour handbook. This has important pre-tour information inside that is designed specifically for travellers and their parents. 10

Individual Special Travel If you have decided to make special travel plans on your own, requests should be submitted as soon as possible. The deadline is 110 days prior to departure. Individual special travel includes going ahead of the tour or staying behind on your own, departing from a different domestic gateway than the rest of the group or making your own flight arrangements (joining the tour of the group at the first hotel on the itinerary). Do not finalize any plans or purchase airline tickets until the tour and dates have been confirmed. Please note that special travel requests are booked separately from the group itinerary. EF cannot guarantee that you will be traveling with your group on the outbound or return flights. Check your Group Status Report to make sure any special travel arrangements are confirmed. 11

Late Payments If you are not enrolled in the Monthly Payment Plan, payments made after 110 days prior to departure are late and are subject to a non-refundable $145 late fee. Late payments must be made by debit or credit card, certified check or money order. Personal checks are not accepted. Call Customer Service at 800-665-5364 or send late payments via overnight mail to: EF Educational Tours Attn: Account Services One Educational Stret Cambridge, MA 02141 12
