Cluttered interface Lots of links Sign in/register still easy to find Lacks explanation of what site is used for Recent searches and recommendations very helpful Top categories and search bar on top left helps grab focus on what’s important
5
Registration Explanatory text at the top and below certain queries helps alleviate potential concerns about cost, time, or contact info use Query boxes align properly for natural feel Questions are grouped logically under headers All registration is compact on one page Unlike main page, registration page is free of extraneous links to cater to beginners

Account Tabs divide between your buy/sell info, private messages, and account settings Quick links on left sidebar divides nicely into buy/lists/sell which can be individually closed Can customize display for advanced users by moving or collapsing various elements Explanation on how Watch List and Bidding works helps new users not used to interface
9
Item Page Displays the most relevant info (time left, current bid) at the top next to an image Placing a bid gives confirmation dialog with bid amount and shipping cost for review Helps prevent scammers with low cost high shipping items to scam new users Seller info at top right with feedback score allows for easy tracking of seller reliability No bid confirmation during last minutes of bidding, important for last second bidders
