Connecting the dots Additional Support for Learning All children need support to help them learn, some more than others. Additional Support is: provision which is additional to, or otherwise different from, the educational provision made generally for children provision which is additional to, or otherwise different from, the educational provision made generally for children (ASL Act-Section 1(3)) Assessment, identification and support based on individual need.

Every one has a responsibility for cross cutting themes of numeracy, literacy, health and wellbeing
