Promote an effective relationship with Government and key bodies, here and abroad, to enhance the contribution made by FM to broader business, economic, society, environmental and quality of life issues. B Services & Benefits Develop best of class services and benefits for members. Promote networking, events, training, research and access to knowledge - as an aid to continuing professional development. Promote a national and international qualification and standards framework for FMs and a code of conduct. C e-Institute Develop BIFM as a best of class, online Institute. D Governance & Management Establish a reputation for excellent governance, management and communication as the leading professional FM Institute.

4 Part A Stakeholders 1. Represent and promote the interests of members and the wider FM community 1. Promote participation and collaboration to develop FM excellence 2. Promote an effective relationship with Government and key bodies, here and abroad, to enhance the contribution made by FM to broader business, economic, society, environmental and quality of life issues. A1Generate a range of benefits and services to attract and retain all classes of membership. A2Aim to double the membership to 15000 by 2008. A3Develop and sustain a strategy to meet the needs of corporate organisations, engaging with them to influence and shape the profession. A4Develop and sustain a regional structure that supports members at a local level. A5An appropriate organisational structure to meet the needs of the various interests within the membership. A6Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with other FM interest groups, government agencies and professional organisations. A7Develop a strategy to manage relationships between BIFM and its stakeholders.
