4. “Reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care for those in need” ICD10 Cont.  AHCCCS Project Approach “Native” processing (ICD9 codes distinct from ICD10 codes) including review and remediation of impacted policies and processes Use of GEMS as a points for reference/validation only Distinct Reference tables within PMMIS to house ICD10 diagnosis and procedures as well as related information Policy review and remediation for “intent” of policy Support beta, early Trading Partner and end to end testing whenever feasible
