It is a global health problem that affects 30 million more people each year. However, this disease is preventable and treatable. Join our club to take action and raise awareness!” Targeted “ Hi, I am ________ from Team Hepatitis B Virus at________. Did you know that 1 in 12 Asian Americans have Hepatitis B, a disease that can lead to liver cancer? It is a global health problem that disproportionately affects minority and underserved populations. However, this disease is preventable and treatable. Join our club to take action and raise awareness!”

Why not Alzheimer’s, other cancers, ALS etc.?  ANSWER: Hepatitis B is preventable.  Only 2 cancers have a vaccine  Other diseases: can only take action through research, fundraising  There’s so many medical clubs. What makes yours different?/Your club’s focus is kind of specific….  ANSWER: We focus on….  Public health  Minority health  Health issues that do not get enough attention  What will I get out of this?  ANSWER:  Team bonding.
