United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is an island state. It lies on the British Isles.

People of many different nationalities live in Britain. London is the capital of the country. It’s one of the largest cities in the world. The official language is English. English is a mixture of Anglo-Saxon, French, Greek and even Russian.

Currency of the country is the British pound sterling.

The Flag of the UK. The national flag of the United Kingdom is called the Union Jack.

The State Emblem of the UK. The main National Royal symbol is Royal Coat of Arms, which identifies the person who is the Head of State. The motto of the country is “GOD AND MY RIGHT”.

THE USA IS ONE OF THE POWERFUL AND ADVANCED COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD. IT LIES IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE CONTINENT OF NORTH AMERICA. IT STRECHES FROM THE ATLANTIC OCEAN IN THE EAST TO THE PACIFIC OCEAN IN THE WEST AND FROM CANADA IN THE NORTH TO MEXICO IN THE SOUTH.

THE USA HAS THE THIRD LARGEST POPULATION IN THE WORLD. ENGLISH IS THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IN THE COUNTRY.

THE AMERICAN FLAG IS CALLED “STARS AND STRIPES”.TODAY THE FLAG HAS 13 HORISONTAL STRIPES AND 50 STARS IN THE LEFT TOP CORNER. THE STRIPES REPRESENT ORIDINAL 13 COLONIES. 50 STARS REPRESENT CURRENT 50 STATES OF THE UNION.

THE NATIONAL SYMBOL OF THE USA THE BALD EAGLE IS THE ONLY EAGLE UNIQUE TO NORTH AMERICA. IT WAS CHOSEN AS AN EMBLEM BECAUSE OF ITS LONG LIFE.
