10/17/2015 State Board of Education 8 Funding Generated $46,833,773 generated through the state aid funding formula for gifted and talented education –$79,324,979 was budgeted by school districts for gifted and talented education. –Therefore, school districts have budgeted an additional $33,647,747 of their general state aid for gifted and talented education.

10/17/2015 State Board of Education 9 Teacher Data 34,981 teachers work with Gifted and Talented students for any portion of the school day. 832 teachers are full-time Gifted and Talented teachers. 129 teachers, counselors, and administrators have certification, special endorsement, and/or a college degree in Gifted and Talented. 2,238 teachers, counselors, and administrators have some college coursework in Gifted and Talented.
