6. Write three detail sentences. Each sentence should tell about the topic. Use good describing words and interesting action words.

7. Example: Slide 2 We built a tree house to spend warm summer nights. Slide 3 While enjoying a night under the stars, a bat wandered into our tree house. Slide 4 As we screamed, yelled and ducked under the covers, my dad chased the bat away.

8. Ending sentence: Restate the topic of the paragraph. Keep it interesting. Make it a closing sentence so your reader knows this is the end of the paragraph.
