U S A We got a possibility of go to the United States of America two years ago. Our parents looked after some things which we need to go there. We must make a new (red) passport and we don’t need to visa. Four days before leaving we started packing. We packed summer tide clothes but not too much because we knew that we will do lots of shopping. Either of us has got a relative in the USA and we went to her, so we bought some present for her and her family. On Thursday we woke up early because we were excited. We took the suitcases in the car and our parents took us to Ferihegy. Two hours before the flight we must be there. We checked in and we got the boarding pass. We had got lots of time which we spend our parents. After that we must took one’s leave. Other passengers were in the departure lounge. The air-hostess came and she escorts us to the plane. As we followed her, we went through the checking gate. After that we presently board to the plane and looked for our seats. All of the passengers sat down on the plane, the stewardess told the safety rules. And our plane took off at 13:05, on 11 th of June, in 2009. The journey takes 11 hours and we landed at 5 o’clock. We went through the checking, got our suitcases and opposite the door Kriszti (our relative) with her daughter, Léna. We lived in New Jersey, in a town which called Bergenfield. New Jersey is a state near New York. When we arrived our new home we packed out from the suitcases. We couldn’t sleep on the first days, because of the time. Some days later we started our adventure:
2
Our first day we went to the nearest department store. It was huge and there were lots of shops in it. We spent 5 hours over there. Next day we went to the American Museum of Natural History. It a famous museum which has got a very big building. We went to the Central Park. We were surprised when we heard its size. It is a big and clean park which people use for relaxation, and sport. There are play grounds for the children. There are often programmes and we can see many different sights: some little castle, fountains, little lakes. We were in Brooklyn, which is a part of New York. We looked around in Bergenfield. We helped a lot Kriszti: painted, tidied, looked after Léna do the shopping- We often went to New York by bus. Firstly we went to the Time’s Square it was a wonderful place. It was crowded and there are lots of sights. The sky-scrapers made us dizzy. We could see lots of yellow taxi. We often found a green area in the middle of the sky-scrapes, where people spend their free time. There are lots of gift shops in the Time’s Square. 2009.06.21: It was surprising celebration for us the Fathers’ Day. We tasted lots of different food from many different countries: from Japan the sushi, Indian food, Thai food, Mexican food. We made some barbecue in the garden on a day.

4 th of July: It was day of Independence and we see so wonderful fireworks. We went camping two times to the same place. We were in the mountains it was huge camp and we can use the pool we could play ballgames we could boating. We slept in a tent. We were in 3 beaches. The best was Point Pleasant. Behind the shore there are lots of facilities. restaurants, gift shops. There were big waves and this beach show a beautiful view about the Atlantic-ocean. We were in a day when lots of Hungarian people met. We met lot of American people through Kriszti and John ( Kriszti’s husband) We were in the New York Public Library. It was the biggest library which we have seen yet. It was surprising to find painting from Mihály Munkácsy. There are lots of café in New York but the most famous is the Starbucks. Most people start their day with a coffee from the Starbucks. We went to the Statue of Liberty which stands in a island. We went to there by ship. This Statue was nice and very big. We walked in the island and took pictures. We went to the Rockefeller centre there were lots of flat and statues, so it was a lovely place. We walked on a long and busy street which called Broadway. We saw many theatres with lots of plays. We saw Empire State Building and its top lighted the different colours at night. It was really high.
4
There were a big underground railway system, so it was difficult to use. Many people use this means of transport a day. We were very lucky because we could see most wonderful bridge in New York it was the Brooklyn bridge. We visited one of Kriszti’s friend in a Saint James. It was a friendly town which is suburb of New York. We saw another and a more silent beach. We were in the China-town. It was crowded and busy part of the city. We could bought there a lot of fake products. We walked through Wall street. This street is the coverage centre of New York. We went to see the place where the World Trade Centre stood. It Was strange feeling to see it because lots of people died there. We heard that they want to built monument. We started to buy the present and we started packing slowly. We weighted the suitcases because we didn’t want to these were overweight. We didn’t want to go home because New York was fantastic place. It was difficult to say goodbye but at 8 o’ clock, on 21 of August, in 2009 our plane took off from the Kennedy airport.
