1. The Dating Game (10 points) Goal: Demonstrate that you understand the different types of love described in ancient Greek stories. Demonstrate that you understand the personalities and actions of the characters in the myth. Create a skit that shows the following characters playing “The Dating Game”. You will need to develop three questions, one for each kind of love, and three answers for each character, based on their personalities. Roles: Game show host (moderates) Player: Asks the players questions. Directs questions to Contestant 1, Contestant 2, and Contestant 3 Contestants: You must respond, in character, to the questions that the player asks.

2. Characters Round 1: Narcissus searches for a girlfriend-- Echo, Atalanta, or Andromeda Round 2: Atalanta searches for a boyfriend-- Perseus, Eros, or Meleager Round 3: Eros searches for a girlfriend-- Psyche, Atalanta, or Echo

3. Homework for the next class Finish the book. Write and answer three questions to use for your skit. The three questions should be directed to your character. If you are the host or the player, think about which of the contestants you would like to talk to the most, and answer the questions in his or her voice. One question must address the search for a relationship in terms of eros. One question must address the search for a relationship in terms of philia. One question must address the search for a relationship in terms of agape.
