Petrol, LPG or Diesel By Vickie Leung
3
In this power point, I will introduce each of the fuels: Petrol, LPG and Diesel. I will give points for them(1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd ) based on the 5 elements: Speed, Distance, Price, Economy and Environmental Friendly. Please enjoy!!

Petrol engines are quiet and smooth, they are responsive and their performance is good. Emit(pump out)around 10% more carbon dioxide than diesel.(More than every other fuel) Emit less toxic emissions than diesel. Engines that run on petrol tend to be cheaper to repair than diesel engines Petrol won’t continue for a long period- it is a measurable resource and so will run out one day. There are different types of petrol: Unleaded, Super Unleaded, Lead Replacement Petrol (LRP) and High Performance Petrol. The tax is less expensive.
5
Diesel engines are more economical than petrol engines. Emit less carbon dioxide. But diesel is slow and noisy. Honda has created their own diesel engine that is designed to be quiet, elegant, clean and with instant response. The tax is more expensive.

The full name is liquefied petroleum gas. Comparing to petrol, LPG gives out 10% less carbon dioxide. LPG also emits 80% less nitrous oxide emissions than diesel. LPG has clean burning so it is smoother and it last longer. Burns more efficiently than petrol or diesel. 40% of LPG comes from the refining of crude oil and 60% straight from field production. It has a 50% reduction in noise pollution compared to diesel engines.

If I were a driver, I would choose LPG because: It’s cheap!! It’s environmental friendly!! It has clean burning so it runs smoother!! It’s not too fast when driving!!
