5  Social Science Teachers are equipped to use the debate forum as a learning mechanism to inspire critical thinking and skills through a 5- day workshop led by American professors.  Trained Teachers organized Debate Clubs at their schools with 20-25  The program is being implemented as an after school activity for children through contracts with a school and with formal support from the Ministry of Education Activities

6  Debate and Speech Tournaments involving debaters are organized at the schools, province, and national level  Debate Resource Center serve as the debate coach arenas providing students with debate and public speaking books, journals, instructional and research materials  The center also administers the logistics for program training sessions, tournaments, and events. 8 Empowers children and youth  Encourage reading, writing and research skills on hot topics such as climate change, global warming, fresh water conservation, poverty reduction, AIDS etc.  Promoting English language education through debates  Team-Building Skills  Public speaking and Decision-Making Skills  Formulating and expressing own opinions and positions on the given topics  Exercising leadership skills through planning, implementing, and evaluating their actions (small projects by debaters)

9  Membership in International Debate Education Association (IDEA) which has members from more than 30 countries all over the world.  Only organization in Mongolia administrating debate clubs at schools  Has gained recognition with Mongolian educators, youth and children  Close ties with schools and local education centers in provinces.  Cooperation with Save the Children- Mongolia, World Vision- Mongolia, Mini-Parliament program run by Women for Social Progress, by the Secretariat of the Mongolian Parliament, and the UN sponsored “One World” conference. 11 All these issues are about to lead to the absence of ownership, respect, moral principles, beliefs, and creativity among the youth hence creating a generation of undisciplined, violent, hardhearted, and reliant young people Therefore, there is an urgent need to launch a comprehensive package of initiatives targeting the youth on the edge of obscurity.
