3. Intermediate Assessment In Science students take the Intermediate Assessment at the end of 8 th grade. It covers everything the students have learned since the beginning of 5 th grade!!!! 5. The journal this year is key to everything we do – we will be connecting back to it with each activity. The first grade will be done by you and your student together!!

8. Odds and Ends We will be using an interactive journal this year to connect all our thoughts – please check it out every once in a while and look at what your child is doing. If students have band lessons or other school activities they must make arrangements beforehand. If students are absent they must come to get work upon their return.
