B. Eclipses: is a shadow cast from one body in space onto another body in space. 1. Eclipses happen all the time in other places 2. Two Types of Earthly Eclipses a. Solar eclipse: is when the moon’s shadow fall on the Earth.

C. Tides: are the rise and fall of water on Earth, due to the pull of gravity from the moon (mostly). 1. Have regular patterns High Tide Low Tide 2. Tide charts are made for every costal location.
