6  Bill Clinton was our 42 nd President of the United States. He was president for 8 years (1993-2001). Also he was born in Hope, Arkansas and he grew up in Hot Springs,then went to Faitvillye the Little Rock. Bill Clinton was our 2 nd democrat after Franklin Rosevelt. This Year his wife Hillary ran for president. She would’ve been the first woman president. In 1980 Chelsea, there only daughter was born. Bill was elected governor of Arkansas in 1978. In 1998 his relationship with a young white house intern resulted in the presidents impeachment by the house of

8  Arkansas entered the union on June 15,1836 as the 25 th state  The governor of Arkansas is Mike Bebee  The spring in mammoth springs is one of the largest springs in the world.  Before Europeans arrived the Caddo,Quapaw and Tunica were there.  North Little Rock offers one of the nations largest municipal parks.  Arkansas holds over 600,000 acres of lakes.

9  Also 9,700 miles of streams and rivers  The state contains 6 national parks.  One of the nick names for Arkansas is the natural state.  Arkansas means south wind.  They have a Tomato eating contest each year.  Arkansas is also called the water state.  The worlds championship duck calling contest is held annualy.
