Just as the Web revolutionized how users talk to applications, XML is transforming how applications talk to each other. To enable effective and universal interaction and communication in communities, common and open languages must be used. –Therefore, the value of implementing and utilizing standards in e-business is paramount to accelerate universal use, especially now, as we evolve into the next generation of the Internet and e-business.

Users can search and retrieve –information is openly available for use in inter- or intra-organizational exchange. OASIS ebXML Registry & Repository Specs –Plan to adopt the specifications developed for interoperable registries and repositories for XML- related entities.
