2. Rachel’s First Five Monday (Act of Kindness for the week) Visit, call, or write an elderly person (possibly a grandparent). You will be surprised how much you will learn if you just listen to some of their experiences. Also it makes them feel good to know you are thinking about them.

3. Impact Aid Forms Impact Aid Forms MUST be returned to your Advisory period teacher by TODAY. These forms mean money for our school and go towards your education. Help us and you by bringing them back as soon as possible.

7. Step team try-outs are : Monday, Oct 20 from 3- 5:15 Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 3-5:15 Friday, Oct. 24 from 3- 4:15 You must have a physical and concussion training on file with Mrs. Harigan in order to try-out. ​Your ride must be here on time or you will be put on an activity bus.

8. NJHS Students Running for Office NJHS students running for office need to send Ms. Mattia an email with your speech, and office you'd like to run for by October 24. The next meeting is November 6 when officers will be elected.

9. Breast Cancer Awareness Month Show your support by doing the following: Make a $1 donation * and get a pink bracelet! (Donations taken during lunches.) PINK OUT Friday’s for the month of October. Wear pink shirts, socks, shoes, etc...to show your support! *All money raised will be donated to a local cancer center
