Teacher Centered ApproachStudent Centered Approach Curriculum Based with same topics for all students. Curriculum Based but numerous choices of topics are available. Topics are isolated and disconnected from each other. Content shows connection between the subjects. Students memorize the facts with little focus on the applying facts to real world situations. Students learn the concepts and facts and get engage in high order thinking with great emphasis on applying the facts. Students work to find correct answers.Students work to construct any one of a number of possible correct answer. The teacher is the information giver – helping students to acquire skills and the knowledge. The teacher is the facilitator – providing students to apply skills and construct their own knowledge.
